Gate & Fence Repair

Even if you did not buy your fence and gate from us, we can breathe years of new life and usability into fences and gates that have fallen into disrepair. Fence replacement is often costly and time consuming. Let us help you save time and money by repairing your existing fence.

What sets us apart

Sanger Fence Co. keeps a large inventory of maintenance parts in stock at all times — which allows us to perform immediate on-call repairs for many types of fences and gates. For example, several high end residential gate openers contain special, proprietary parts that other fence contractors would have to special order. Our large inventory of spare parts allows us to perform same-day repairs, restoring our customer’s sense of security in a matter of hours, not days.

Does Your Fence Need a Repair?

A fence is an investment in safety and security. But as with any investment, fences occasionally need to be maintained to hold their value. If neglected, a fence will show signs of wear and tear, and eventually need to be entirely replaced. Learn to recognize the signs of a fence in need of repair.

Ground Contact

Ground conditions can (and often do) shift over time, causing a fence to sit too close to the ground. Too much ground contact allows moisture to penetrate or damage materials, which can lead to premature fence failure.

Rust

Wrought iron and other ferrous metals are susceptible to rust, which can cause a fence to become weak or fail entirely. Rust usually appears as an orange discoloration at first and typically begins in a wrought iron fence’s joints.

Discoloration

Chipped paint or other discoloration can also lead to further problems with your fence. When materials are left exposed to the elements, pests, moisture, and dry rot often damage fencing.

Warping or Bending

When posts begin to sway or fall, the rest of the fence is usually not far behind. Even strong materials like metal or pressure treated wood can warp or bend when over time as conditions around your fence slowly change.

Pests and Dry Rot

Wood fencing can also be susceptible to pests or dry rot. Dry rot occurs when wood loses its natural oils, and termites, carpenter ants, certain wasps, and various other wood borers can quickly ruin a fence if left unchecked.

bending fence

Warping or Bending

Traditional wood fences use wood posts set in cement footings. Unfortunately, water can seep into this cement, causing posts to sway or fall. Even pressure treated wood can warp or bend when exposed to water.

Reviews

Super impressed with their quality and their quick time of completion. They completed the job exactly the way I requested and were exceptionally respectful of my property. They also arrived when scheduled which I have never experienced with a residential contractor. I would absolutely recommend them if you are looking for an exemplary fencing contractor. — Krys P.
We've hired Sanger Fence Company to two jobs for us, about five years apart. They have been prompt, professional, and fair with their pricing. The owner was willing to be flexible to meet our wants and needs. Furthermore, if adjustments had to be made, even after the job was finished, Sanger Fence took care of it. This company didn't cut corners, and have left us very satisfied with the results. — Tom S.

Fences and Gates We Repair

We repair virtually all kinds of fencing. From replacing rusted out sections in a metal fence ot fixing a dry rotted wooden gate, we can repair any type of fence or gate.

Vinyl Fence Repair

Vinyl is a synthetic material that is durable and long-lasting. Vinyl fencing is not vulnerable to rot or termites but can still be damaged or broken in other ways. In most cases, we can repair damaged sections of a vinyl fence without having to replace the entire fence.

Chain Link Fencing repair

Chain link fences are extremely durable, but they are not impervious. Impact damage (caused by falling trees or auto accidents) can hurt the integrity of a chain link fence. And over time even galvanized chain links can begin to rust. Sanger Fence can repair chain link fences by cutting out and replacing damaged sections of chain link without replacing the whole fence.
